I am taking a break from teaching studio classes for 2020.
I also offer lessons via Skype/Facetime. These are more “consulting” sessions than teaching sessions however. They are primarily used to help glass workers with any issues they may be having. I do these in half hour or hour sessions scheduled at your convenience. Contact me for more information.
I also offer classes in video format. You can watch them at your own pace (and re-watch them as often as you like). Once you sign up for the classes they are yours indefinitely. When you sign up I will need to manually add you to the class and send you the password to log in to the class. This is usually pretty quick but can take up to 24 hours. I will send the info to the email you use to to pay for the class unless you tell me otherwise.
Please note that these classes are not “beginner” classes, as they don’t cover shop setup, safety, etc. They are intended for someone who has a little experience working with glass. If you are unsure about your ability level, please feel free to contact me and we can talk about it and I can suggest a place for you to start.
Borosilicate Pendants for Flameworkers 1 – $95 USD
This class is where I suggest most students start. It will get you used to working with borosilicate glass and help you learn the basic techniques involved in making pendants.
Borosilicate Pendants for Flameworkers 2 – $95 USD
This class takes your pendant skills to the next level by using multiple techniques and introducing you to using hollow tubes in addition to solid rods of glass.
Marble Techniques for Flameworkers – $95 USD
This is my most advanced video class. You will learn to make marbles and get comfortable working with larger amounts of glass.
